The Ordinary and Niod – My Routine

more news from the blog

  1. I just started using products from The Ordinary & Niod. I use The Ordinary Buffet w/copper. I’m assuming it’s quite similar to Niod Copper Isolates. On web site it says not to mix the Vit C and Resveratrol with Copper. I don’t know why since you seem to do it. But I’ve been using my Buffet/Copper, matrixol, Hyaluronic and Hylamide eye serum in the A.M., then alternate VitC 23% In Spheres & Resveratrol, with Granactive 5% in Squalane at nights. I can’t get the Granactive Retinoid in Canada so I have a friend order it for me in the US!

I’m also using Niod HV love it. Seals in everything and leaves a Matt finish. I recently added Niod NAAP but am confused on when to add it. Before VitC & Reservatrol or after? I’ve been using after because on Niod web site says to use after Elan. However the web site conflicts info because it says to use water base products before heavier ones. Ugh. It’s going to take me awhile to figure it all out! Appreciate the how to videos.

  2. Thanks for your video. I love The Ordinary 100% Cold Pressed Virgin Marula Oil; I like The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid, and I have just started using Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate this week and I love it.

  3. I am afraid I have to disagree with your comment about The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension with Silicone. I do not like it and will not buy it again. I found it weirdly smooth, powdery smooth, and suspected it would hinder the absorption of products I applied over the top. It is the only product I have used from The Ordinary, so far, but I will not buy it again. That said, I have just ordered some Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl 10% and Caffeine Solutions to try.

  4. Thanks Lucy very informative video. I have been using the ordinary for about 2 months now and love the brand. Your advice about retinol and retinoid was very helpful and will now incorporate retinoid into my night time routine.

  5. This is my first time hearing your presentation and I thank you kindly for your calm, well-informed and thorough delivery. Many people are overwhelming to listen to about such important issues and the very important information one is trying to comprehend can be difficult to follow and understand. You are very pleasant to learn from and I learned a great deal about skin care and these related products. … I will look forward to future presentations. Thank you again.

  6. SUPERB Video Lucy!! I am going to try your routine, which maes real sense to me. Gotta buy a couple of the products you mentioned, which I don’t have.

  7. By far the most informative video regarding Deciem products. I have all the products you mentioned but have given up using them as I wasn’t sure what went where and when! Time to get them back out. Thank you for taking the time to explain . I find their website slightly confusing so this is exactly what I have been looking for.

  8. Hi Lucy, this video was really informative, thank you! I’m finding when I layer I get ‘pilling’. Have you ever experienced this with The Ordinary? My skincare consists of The Ordinary and La Roche Posay and I’m just wondering where I’m going wrong xx
