  1. hii thanks for being on my skincare journey with me! Please remember I'm not a professional, these things have been working for me! I've talked to many skin care specialists and worked with a naturopath to heal my acne. The things that work for me may not work for you!

  2. I have sworn by Dermalogica for a good 5 years now. I use the Cleansing Gel and Daily Microexfoliant which are my favourite products (along with the precleanse ). I find that when I've run out of the Daily Microexfoliant that's when my skin starts playing up and doesn't feel as smooth. You only need a small amount and it lathers up nicely. I've been told by a beautician (who advised me to use Dermalogica for acne) to leave it on my skin for a few minutes which I do find makes a difference, so it is by far my holy grail and I definitely recommend trying it out!!

  3. obsessed that such a babe creator like you also has acne sometimes like it always feels like the pretty instagram models always have such good skin and it's so nice to know i'm not the only one who still gets pimples in her 20s

  4. Squalane from The Ordinary is my go-to oil to put on at night or whenever I'm feeling kinda dry (especially around my nose and mouth). Even though it is an oil it's so light weight and doesn't leave a greasy film whatsoever. A friend of mine swears by it aswell and we both have very sensitive skin, so I would definitely recommend that one!

  5. This makes me want to get back into skincare. I was obsessed for a while and was using all these Korean products, trying to replicate the 11 step routine, but I was breaking out a lot. Then I started running out of products and getting too lazy to replace them, but started noticing that when I didn’t put anything on my face my acne reduced. However now that I haven’t been consistent with skincare in a long time I still always have a baseline of acne, so I’m thinking I need to find a routine again. That and my skin is overall much less glowy and healthy looking. I guess I’ll have to put that Christmas money to work! Thanks for the inspo!

  6. You should try The Ordinary’s BHA/AHA peel! It comes in the same type of frosted bottle so much better for the environment! I used to suffer from severe acne and cystic acne! I currently use the PCA oily problem wash, pixie glow tonic (glycolic acid) the ole Henriksen truth serum (vitamin c), Origins Ginzing moisturizer, and The Ordinary’s Rose Hip oil ( this contains natural retinoids so it really helps acne scars and fine lines). All of these products have transformed my skin! The AHA/BHA peel and the glycolic toner have shown me the best results and I highly recommend them!

  7. I’ve heard that you shouldn’t use too much oil products in the morning, and only on night time. At least that’s what’s been helping me! Lots of moisturizer really helps too!! Love ur channel!

  8. The dermalogica precleanse, exfoliator and smoothing cream are amazing! The sephora at sherway and on yonge and eglington have 30 min dermalogica facials for $30! But breakouts usually have to do with your liver, kidneys, etc. Took a while to figure this out. Try acupuncture! Treatments will get rid of “dampness” and help kickstart the organs! Skin will glow!

  9. I think your skin looks great! I had hormonal and cystic acne for so long but it finally cleared. I still can't live without Renee Rouleau's Anti Bump Treatment and the Rapid Response Detox Masque from her line is also amazing. You can use it daily and it helps with acne and provides intense hydration. For a daily exfoliant, I use Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser. It completely changed my skin. Her Skin Zyme Mask and Cleanser also helped a lot with my acne scarring.

  10. Try the Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting Liquid, it’s pretty similar, it has a BHA in it, so it’ll have a very simple effect and is better for the environment. Oh and it’s cheap! Hope this helped a bit

  11. Retin A has changed my life. It sucks during month 2-3 but if you stick to it… omg. I use a cleanser, origins moisturizers and retin A at least 3x a week. Its a game changer. Btw…. Origin's entire skincare line has 0 comedogenic ingredients.

  12. My current night cream is the first aid beauty hydra firm sleeping cream, it has niacinimide in it which is good for pigmentation and it’s fragrance free! I’m on my second jar.

  13. hey was just wondering if you are weary of the fact that some companies don't recommend using niacinamide and vitamin c at the same time cause they cancel each other out, maybe something to look out. btw great vid

  14. I think less product will have much better effect on your skin. I ve had acne for years and i realized the less you use the better. Good cleansing, exfoliating with aha and bha's, a good moisturizer and topical spot creams is what worked for me. Too much product will suffocate your pores.

  15. In terms of removing bumps and improving the texture of your skin, I have found the Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos serum to be the best product! Try it out, I saw results within 3 days x

  16. I’m not gonna lie, I’m to lazy to ever follow any of this but I love your vids so I’m watching it anyway.
I do use the kora eye oil thing, because that’s the easiest thing to apply.

  17. I really like the Chanel exfoliater, the packaging is really cute, its nice and gentle, my skin feels AMAZING after I use it. I feel like its gentle enough to use even every day, I use it every couple days. I love it!

  18. I've used cerave products nonstop since I was 12 for my eczema (am just shy of 20 now) but I wanted to switch cleansers for a cruelty free one and the burts bees one was doing a decent job but then I got bad breakouts with no known cause (my diet is my main breakout causes) and they wouldn't go away so I switched back to my cerave hydrating cleanser and almost all of my bad breakouts were gone over night ! really want to try dermalogica as they are cruelty free so hopefully my skin will love as much as it does the cerave products

  19. I highly recommend trying the Ordinary's Azealic Acid Suspension along with their Niacinamide!! I used to have absolutely ~garbage~ skin that left me with a lot of scarring (and its still not incredible) but my dermo told me to use those and it has made my skin look the best it has in years.

I use the Niacinamide in the AM and the Azealic Acid Suspension in the PM! Anyway, youre doing great!! Keep killin it girl, youre what keeps me coming back to youtube lol

  20. Have you tried witch hazel? I have been using it every day for a while now when I get out of the shower, after washing my face and before applying any serums, and I think it helps a ton
